Hi dear volunteers ;o)
Now we will present you the mentors from salzburg. from left to right we are: Thomas, Tatjana, Biggi, Johanna and Bertold!

With short personal statements we will present us!!
Thomas:
2 football-quotes: "On the one side exotics, foreign culture,
wild rites - and on the other side Cameroon" (a precise comment about
the austrian-football at the WC-game 1998 Austra - Cameroon" (current
as never ;-)) from german comedian Dieter Nuhr)"The result is 1:1, it could also endet vice versa" (from a german commentator)
About
me: I like football (watching, playing) and the EURO 08 is once in a
lifetime-experience/chance for
Austria. For me I also like a lot of
Music, meet people, travelling and make photos. So see you soon Thomas
Johanna:
Hi,
my name is Johanna, I am 22 years old and I am from
Germany. I`m doing
my studies in Salzburg since 2005 and I like the city and the people
very much.
I am looking forward to the
EM becuase I love soccer and I think international events like the EM
always offer the opportunity to connect young people all over the
world. So I hope we will have a great time and a lot of fun together.
Looking forward to see you, bye Johanna!
Bertold:
My name is
Bertold and I am 27 years old. I am not a "Native" here in Salzburg but
I am from Upper
Austria, from the "Far North" of
Austria so to say.
I
came to Salzbug to study Linguistics, but I found much more her than
just that. I got to know a lot of nice people and got in contact with
Akzente International and their interesting young projects.
Although
this is my first project with European volunteers, I already have a lot
of experiences in dealing with other cultures and people. I have
travelled around the world and worked in a lot of different job to get
through.
I can talk well, I can listen
even better and I can make sure other people have a good time. That is
what I will do for the volunteers who are coming to help us out here in
Salzburg.
Tatjana
"eather I pass by the left side or by the right..."
Hi, I am Tatjana, 24, and really looking forward to this exchange - experience during the EM 2008! I did my EVS 2004 in
Portugal and so I could be part of the last football event with a lot of different "funny" people that came together. As I like talking facing the people, I really hate writing. So see you soon in Austria!
Biggi:
Hey everybody my name is Biggi, I am 23
years old and I am an Italian girl. I will finish my study science of
education in June and with this international project with Akzente and
you I conclude my stay in Salzburg. It is my first international
project and so of course I give all my energy to have a fun time with
you ... and full of new experiences!!
So... let
me think, what I can tell you about me: I like dancing, going out
with friends and of course I like coffee and pizza, I like reading a
good book, looking TV and staying in the sun. I like snowboarding,
make spontaneous activities ...I am not a fanatical football viewer,
but during the world or european championship I can shout very loud
during the games;o)
I am delighted to see you soon, best wishes, biggi
You will not need a uniform, you will get a special Shirt designating you as European Volunteer during EM2008.
As for the weather: it is always good to have a rain-jacket with you - it can rain at any time in Salzburg :) And you will need a pair of solid shoes in case you want to join one of the nature walks that we have planned for you. You won\\\'t need special mountain boots (we won\\\'t go glacier-climbing), just something a bit more solid than flip-flops ;)
Cheers,
Bertold
